Installation Methodology
The installation of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) wall panel involves the following steps:
- Receive the panels: Inspect and unload the panels, ensuring they are kept dry.
- Locate and install the locator: Clean the floor and use chalk lines and a laser level to mark the panel positions. Set up a positioning frame.
- Prepare the panels: Install support brackets, cut panel belts, and classify the panels. Cut panels as needed, using water to reduce dust.
- Transport and initial installation: Transport the panels to the location. Apply thin-bed mortar and install the first panel using an installing machine.
- Align and fix: Use wooden wedges and a level to align the panel, then fix it with wedges and screws.
- Install subsequent panels: Apply thin-bed mortar to the tongue of the installed panel and repeat the installation process for the remaining panels.
- Install lintel and finish: Install the lintel with formwork and concrete. Finish the surface and perform an internal inspection before the final handover.
